The collection overall focuses on oversized garments, similar to the idea presented by Margiela’s fall 2000 collection, Yohji brought his own interpretation of the oversized concept by draping traditional menswear on the female form, translating men’s coats, jackets and pants and showcasing on how beautifully bunched up fabric hangs on the body

This jacket is a perfect example of the collection’s concept, with an exaggerated shoulder with loose epaulettes, and a cropped waist with double-breasted hidden buttons
