The arguable height of Jun’s Undercover lable from fw02 to aw06, where almost every season during is largely celebrated among the fashion community even today, stems from Jun’s proposal of radical beauty. Jun’s initial motifs, mostly punk, has marinated from his earlier collections such as fw97 tokyo collection, from a observational recollection of punk styles, to a high standard beauty, either in the clothes itself or the idea of clothes. Jun’s capability to reinvent what clothes are and fully taking it on as an art form, made him one of most notable modern fashion designers.
