In true Margiela fashion, another ordinary object enlarged and reinterpreted by the master. The motif was of course introduced in the FW1994 Dolls Collection, with clothes enlarged in the style of doll’s clothes, buttons and all. Later also done in ss1999 with the enlarged dogtags. This is Margiela’s luxury interpretation for his spring 2004 last collection for Hermes, enlarging the ordinary paper clip with the finest Hermes leather. The clip is made with this luxuriously soft, full-grain leather with metal wiring inside. One can identify this piece is from 2004 from the square H heat stamp. We are providing a leather necklace piece so that you can now wear it out, whether you are clipping your keys or just wearing it as a necklace. An unmistakable Margiela piece and an absolute archive grail.
