Ford cited in a TV interview that the main inspiration for the collection is Tippi Hedren’s character from the 1964 Hitchcock flick Marnie, continuing his work to reconstruct and modernise retro aesthetic

This piece is one of the highlights of the collection, a simple pencil skirt with the season exclusive mock G-string Leather straps with these small “G” logo buckles that are encrusted with Swarovski Crystals, this particular skirt was featured on the 38th look on the runway paired with a long sleeve top and a Swarovski crystal lined jacket

This Acetate-Silk blend fabric was specifically chosen to give off a distinctive sheen that bounces off light beautifully when walking 

The skirt is about two sizes larger than our mannequin therefore it is not possible to demonstrate the intended dropped waist fit with the straps hanging on either side of the waist 

The straps provide three holes on each side for small adjustments

Fully lined with 100% rayon fabric with Gucci monogram 

Front zip and hook closure

Made in Italy
