The piece is an variation of the runway version of a shoulder padded oversized pure cashmere sweater, a precursor to the designs presented in his spring 1998 collection where he introduced metal emblems as part of the structure of the garment. The plate emblems itself is actually from a knit wear piece from fall 1996, but this time it is placed next to the neck
