From the very beginning of Tom Ford’s career, his second collection with the landmark fall 1995 Gucci collection, that Tom put him self and Gucci to the top of the fashion scene. His 70s-tinged designs pioneered a sexy, super-glam new direction for the brands. The collection includes a majority of velvet garments including this double-breasted blazer that was worn by Meghan Douglas. The jacket is made with a luxurious soft velvet with large sharp shoulders pads. In very good condition, some slight signs of use. A scratch on one of the buttons.
